Description:

A volunteer opportunity you can do at home!

The Mission & Outreach committee of New Braunfels Presbyterian Church recently introduced its members to this opportunity to serve as Mentors to incarcerated men and women through Crossroads Prison Ministries.

After a brief training program, Mentors correspond safely and confidentially with inmates through the structure of a bible study program. In their own words, CPM “connects people in prison with volunteer mentors from churches on the outside. Unlikely friendships unfold when two people with completely different backgrounds exchange letters and study the Bible together. As they encourage each other, develop a friendship rooted in Christ and apply Scripture to their lives, God begins to transform both of their hearts.”
